Department Message

At Seng Kang Primary School, our Science Department is guided by the belief that “Thinkers Today, Leaders Tomorrow.” We nurture future-ready learners who are curious, thoughtful, and able to make a positive impact on the world.

Grounded in Singapore’s Science Curriculum Framework, we place Science for Life and Society at the heart of learning. We aim to develop scientifically literate students who can think critically, ask questions, and make informed decisions. At the same time, we build strong foundations to support future learning in STEM.

We recognise that every learner is different. Through engaging experiences, students develop skills in inquiry, thinking, and application. Science learning goes beyond facts. Students explore real-world issues and see how Science connects to everyday life.

We also emphasise values, ethics, and attitudes. Students are guided to consider the impact of Science on society and the environment, and to form thoughtful perspectives.

Together with our teachers and partners, we create a supportive environment where students grow as confident inquirers with a lasting interest in Science.
